Let’s fool Mother Nature and make our own quick and easy faux stones in polymer clay that are light enough to wear as jewelry and beautiful enough to fool even the most discriminating eye. Leave with your own agate slices, beach stones, and more as time permits. Beginners welcome.

Materials: A limited number of pasta machines will be available for use. Please bring your own if you have one. Also bring your favorite poly tools including Exacto knife with standard #11 blade, slicing blade, needle tool, old toothbrush. A bottle of acrylic paint in black, brown, beige or cream. Premo clay: 6 to 8) 2 oz bars in translucent, 1) 2 oz bar each in black and white; also cad red, cad yellow, orange, gold, silver, brown and ecru can be used. If you have any old, hard clay in black and neutrals, bring them. You will need embossing powders in light and dark earthy colors and black. I like Tim Holtz Distress embossing powders available at A. C. Moore. Also mica flakes if you have them.
