This workshop is for those who would like to learn about experimental and painted enamels or who would like to expand their experience in enameling.
Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Level Class
We will make a number of type samples of torch fired enamels using various techniques on textured, dapped copper foil. The piece/pieces will be set with wire for a brooch. Some soldering and metal working skills will be helpful. Bring an optivisor is you have one. Also, if you have scissors for fine work, burnisher, tripod w/ stilts, metal stamps or drill bit for 22 gauge wire, bring them along. The possibilities are endless.
Materials Fee: $55, which covers pigments, enamels, gold leaf, copper, silver wire, sterling silver sheet, and firing incidentals. To be paid to instructor at beginning of class
