This class is an introduction to the basics of cutting and polishing gemstone cabochons. You will learn how to form cabochons in several shapes from agate and jasper stone slabs. We will also explore gems and minerals in the rough state & learn about tools and equipment used in the lapidary arts. You may bring your own stones to class for discussion. An Optivisor is recommended.
