Recycling Scrap Silver with Richard Meszler
(Beginner/Intermediate) Learn how to make your silver scrap useful again. This class will be a combination of demonstration and participation. Students will learn how to cast an ingot and roll/pull it into wire. In addition the class will learn about straw, water and salt casting. Students who wish to do hands-on casting are required to bring at least 30 grams (1 oz.) or more of clean (solder free) scrap silver. Everyone must wear close-toed leather shoes or boots. There is a maximum of 6 students for this class.
