This is a family-fun afternoon so bring your husband/wife/significant other/kids along and share the fun and friendship of our summer activity.
If you would like to participate in a rock swap, feel free to bring along your cutting rough, minerals, fossils, beads, jewelry, books or tools and plan on swapping with others at the picnic.
And of course, don’t forget your bathing suit and towel because Marcia has a pool! A nice one too. And a hot tub. You will not be alone!
Directions to Marcia’s house:
From the Beltway (I-695): Take I-70 west towards Frederick. Take exit 87A (on the left) onto US 29 south (towards Columbia). Get in the right lane.
At exit 24B, take US 40 west and stay in the right lane. Make a right turn on Greenway Dr (there’s a Midas car shop on the right just before Greenway). Make a left turn on Joey Dr. which becomes Valley Mede. Marcia’s home is on the left near the end of the court. Park anywhere on the street, but please be mindful of Marcia’s neighbors.
