Students will learn the centuries-old weaving of fine strands of wire into a mesh-like chain - techniques of Viking Knit that will make a strong, flexible, elegant necklace chain for a cabochon pendant. The weaving techniques are rhythmic and zen-like. Parawire copper and colored non-tarnish craft wire are the choices for kits. Fine silver wire kits are available for a small extra cost. No experience required, beginners are welcome. Please let me know if you prefer fine silver.
Please bring: Small wire flush cutters (if you have special ones that you like, otherwise the Guild has some), Optivisor or magnification, masking tape, measuring tape or ruler, and fine point black marker, all needed to prepare the dowel.

Instructor will provide a FREE extra roll of wire in your choice of color
