What is this?
This class is an introduction to the basics of cutting and polishing gemstone cabochons. No experience is necessary. You will learn how to form cabochons of several shapes from slabs of stones such as agates, jaspers and more. We will explore gems and minerals in the rough state & learn about tools and equipment used in the lapidary arts. You are encouraged to bring your own stones to class for discussion.
This is a 2 day class.
An Optivisor is recommended.
No experience required.
This class is a prerequisite for Open Shop access.
